is seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our growing property management team as a

Site Labourer (BANK)

. The role involves supporting a range of manual and site-based tasks across our managed properties, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation and upkeep of our buildings. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, proactive, and keen to learn, with a strong commitment to health and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience and develop their skills within a professional and dynamic property management organisation.

Duties

:

Site Preparation & Cleanup:

Clearing the site of debris, preparing work areas for tradespeople, and ensuring the site and welfare facilities remain tidy and safe at all times.

Health and Safety:

Adhering to all site safety guidelines, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and reporting any hazards or issues to the site manager or foreman promptly.

Material Handling:

Loading, unloading, and moving building materials, tools, and equipment around the site or for delivery/collection.

Assisting Tradespeople:

Providing support to skilled workers such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and bricklayers, which may involve holding materials, mixing mortar/concrete, or fetching tools.

Basic Construction Tasks:

Performing fundamental manual labour, and assisting with demolition works.

Operating Equipment:

Safely using basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, shovels, wheelbarrows, Henry vacuums)

Qualifications

Physical Fitness & Stamina:

The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects (often 50 lbs or more), stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions.

Reliability & Punctuality:

Dependability is crucial for maintaining project schedules and being a trusted team member.

Ability to Follow Instructions:

Must be able to listen to and follow directions accurately from supervisors and tradespeople with minimal oversight.

Teamwork & Communication:

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly is important for safety and efficiency.

Safety Awareness:

A solid understanding of on-site safety procedures is vital.

Driving Licence/Transport:

A driving licence maybe required for this role.
