Job Purpose Summary
The Site Leader is responsible for overseeing and integrating all key operational functions at the site, including warehouse management, cleanroom operations, quality control (QC), supply chain/ planning, and customer service. This role ensures that day-to-day operations run efficiently while aligning with the company's long-term strategic goals.
This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role, requiring a strong daily presence to guide teams, resolve issues, and maintain high operational standards.
Working closely with key stakeholders such as, Sales, Marketing and QARA the Site Leader ensures that operational capabilities support commercial objectives and customer expectations. The role also collaborates with support functions such as HR and Finance to drive workforce engagement, financial discipline, and continuous improvement.
This leadership position requires a strong focus on cross-functional alignment, stakeholder satisfaction, and operational excellence, ensuring the site contributes meaningfully to the broader business success.
There may also be further opportunity in the future to support an additional site based in Germany
What you will do
Provide strong, visible, and consistent on-site leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and team alignment.
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Align site operations with the company's broader strategic goals by understanding the priorities of key stakeholders. Translate these into a clear, actionable site business plan, and conduct regular reviews to ensure initiatives and projects remain on track and contribute to long-term business success.
Align the Site Leadership Team and Key Stakeholders, managing expectations and priorities from both partes to ensures best business outcomes and alignment with central business processes.
Effectively communicate risks, opportunities, and progress to the senior leadership and key partners.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, track progress, guide operational decision-making, identify trend and identify areas for improvement.
Lead and manage all site operations, including warehouse, cleanroom, quality control (QC), supply chain / planning, and customer service.
Collaborate and partner with the Customer Service Manager and Supply Chain / planning Teams (on site and wider Global team) to ensure efficient and seamless end-to-end product flow to customers.
Collaborate with QARA to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standard.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on efficiency, quality, and service excellence. Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed for operational issues.
Lead process optimization and lean initiatives to improve key metrics.
Develop and mentor site leaders and teams to build capability and support succession planning.
Foster an engaged, high-performing team culture across the site. Instilling company values and championing initiatives such as Kudos and engagement surveys.
Work closely with HR and Finance to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and budget control.

What you will need
Site or operational management experience (circa 50+) with demonstrated success in leadership, performance management, and team development.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain / planning operations.
Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, shipping/logistics, and global distribution.
Proficiency with ERP systems (D365) and warehouse management systems.
Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare products (preferred).

You will also need to demonstrate:
Operational Excellence
Deep understanding of warehouse, cleanroom, QC, and supply chain / planning operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Software Proficiency
Ability to make informed decisions using KPIs and analytics, with strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, ERP systems (D365 ), BI platforms (Power BI), and data analysis software to monitor and improve performance.
Understanding of Medical Device Supply Chain
Strong knowledge of the complexities within the medical device supply chain, with the ability to navigate regulatory requirements, quality standards, and logistical challenges unique to the industry
