We are now looking for a Property Site Maintenance Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Northampton site (NN4 5FB) working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Role




As a Property Site Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining our premises safely and effectively, while upholding H&S and customer requirements.




Specifically, you will support and monitor contractors, ensuring they work in line with pre-approved risk assessments and method statements.




Conducting periodic site maintenance checks and repairs, you will uphold compliance with relevant machinery-related legislation and Health and Safety procedures.




Additionally, you will:




Identify and report the need for major repairs Carry out minor repair work Use PPE as required Undertake regular site audits and escalate any abnormalities



About You




To be considered as a Property Site Maintenance Engineer, you will need:




At least 2 years' experience in general building maintenance, electrical maintenance or facilities maintenance, preferably within a distribution company City & Guilds18th edition electrical qualification Good working knowledge of property legislation and H&S requirements An H&S-related qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable) Good communication and customer service skills Good organisational skills A good level of IT literacy
