What You'll Do




As Site Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our on-site Waste Team -- ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.


Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the on-site waste management team. Leading, motivating, and developing team members through training, briefings, and competency assessments. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations at all times. Maintaining waste storage areas in a compliant, organised manner. Promoting best practice in waste segregation and driving continuous improvement to reduce costs. Assisting with the creation of procedures, risk assessments, and project delivery for new waste initiatives. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

What You'll Bring




We're looking for someone with:

? Proven experience in waste management operations, ideally including hazardous waste.

? Strong leadership and communication skills - you know how to bring out the best in people.

? Excellent organisational skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

? A strong safety and compliance mindset.

? IT proficiency (Microsoft Office / Excel).

? A full UK driving licence.

Qualifications:



IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH (essential). WAMITAB COTC Level 4 - Treatment and Transfer of Hazardous Waste (essential).

Hours of Work:




40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


45k - 55k dependant on experience
