SITE MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Site Manager to join our client's team on a new build project. As Site Manager you will be responsible for organising resources to ensure all works meet the required quality, programme and safety standards.

You will need to have a very good knowledge of the construction industry and new build timber frame projects as you will be overseeing various trades. As the Site Manager you will offer and implement technical solutions to on site issues and liaise with the Contract Manager and Surveyor.

The Role

Day to day supervision of site.

Providing construction knowledge and guidance when required.

Dealing with clients and ensuring a high level of quality and service is delivered.

Reporting daily back to the Contracts Managers and Surveyors.

Ordering materials through approved company system.

Attending weekly progress meetings and safety meetings.

Maintaining health and safety to the highest standards on site.

Organising and liaising with sub-contractors such as labour and plant hire.

Checking quality and standard of works being carried out and implement QA system.

Organising and controlling directly employed and sub-contracted labour.

Monitor on site materials.

Check and record labour outputs against time sheets.

Ensure sub-contracted labour meets required standards.

The Person

At least 6 years supervisory experience

Construction knowledge and background

Ideally available immediately but not essential for the right person

Manager CSCS - SMSTS - 5 Day first Aid.

Experience and working knowledge of CDM regulations

Flexibility to work occasional weekends
