to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site personnel, and maintaining strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
Supervise subcontractors and site staff to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and report on site performance.
Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, permits, and quality assurance documentation.
Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Resolve site issues promptly and effectively to minimise delays.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project management principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid at Work.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
