Astute are proud to be partnered with a pioneer in the renewable energy industry, leading the field in the delivery of innovative renewable energy source technologies and solutions. The client is a vertically integrated renewable energy company, offering capability across the entire green energy project lifecycle: from initial development and design, through construction, grid connection, operation, and maintenance to asset optimisation. We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale Renewable Energy Assets.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Management of the project site, inclusive of managing site access, signage, waste management procedures and delivery/collection of materials.
• Keep updated all HSEQ site records, including sub-contractor HSEQ documents and work permits.
• Ensure that CDM regulations are applied to all site activities.
• Apply technical knowledge to interpret drawings and information to support sub-contractors in their work.
• Monitor site works to ensure adherence to project program and complete progress reports to the assigned Project Manager.
• Manage procurement of materials/equipment and check over deliveries for defects/damage prior to acceptance.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Prior experience managing the delivery of large-scale renewable/construction projects successfully in a similar role.
• Valid SMSTS Certificate
• Excellent knowledge of HSEQ in Construction regulations.
• Experience managing civil, electrical, and other sub-contractors on site.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.
