Overview

Due to recent growth, we have a requirement for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, helping to deliver high quality work on our heritage projects.

This role is based on site and manages a range of trades' people, both employees and sub-contractors. You will be the company on site representative in respect of the client, professional team and public officials. Therefore, sensitivity, credibility and diplomacy are essential, as well as broad knowledge of building trades, architect and consultant responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

Essential

Experience in site management Thorough knowledge of the labour requirement and trades involved in construction project execution Highly numerate Strong analytical and IT skills Structured and planned approach to work with strong attention to detail Able to influence with impact and resolve conflict effectively and diplomatically Confident decision maker who weighs up the risks and makes quick, appropriate decisions Able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing Able to work collaboratively with other individuals to deliver successful project completion Strong client focus and excellent stakeholder management
Desirable

Experienced in working on heritage construction projects for example, listed buildings, churches, or buildings of national importance A background in construction, ideally from a recognised trade SMSTS and First Aid qualifications CSCS card holder

About Splitlath

Splitlath is dedicated to the careful conservation and repair of historic buildings, experienced in working on listed buildings and scheduled ancient monuments. We also have the knowledge and sympathetic approach to construct new buildings within historic environments.

Our in-house trades include carpenters; both joiners and framers, masons, lime plasterers, bricklayers, specialist groundworkers and heritage leadworkers.

Pay: 28,082.09-57,990.09 per year
