Site Manager:

WSW Refurbishments are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. On some of the projects this role will involve a proportion (amount dependant on project) of on the tools works to suit the successful applicants' skills. Multi trade engineers preferred for this reason.

WSW Refurbishments undertake projects in the value range of 50K - 2m across Commercial, Educational, Industrial and Residential sectors.

This is a site based role, so candidates must be based within a commutable distance of Essex, Hertfordshire, or North London.

ABOUT YOU

Proven track record of managing refurbishment or fit-out projects in the 50K - 2m range. Able to lead a site team and coordinate subcontractors effectively. Good work ethic and can do attitude alongside an eye for detail. Broad range of knowledge and multi trade skills. Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills. IT proficiency for project programming and reporting. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations. Familiar with working under JCT contracts, building control regulations and contract administration. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, consultants and supply chain. Full driving licence.

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card) and First Aid certification Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Proficient in completing daily site checks and all site based paperwork Experience preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). Daily site checks and construction phase documents. Commercial awareness with an understanding of cost control and project financials.
