Overview


We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee construction or infrastructure projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervisory experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead diverse teams, coordinate project activities, and ensure successful project delivery within allocated timelines and budgets. The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining health and safety standards whilst fostering a collaborative working environment.

Duties



Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site activities to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely. Manage multiple teams of subcontractors, suppliers, and labour personnel to optimise productivity. Utilise Primavera P6 for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking to maintain project timelines. Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective measures promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns. Control site logistics, including procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery. Supervise the work of site staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, safety records, and site reports.

Qualifications



Proven management experience within the construction or infrastructure sector. Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to construction sites. Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic environment where leadership qualities are valued alongside technical expertise. The successful candidate will be integral to delivering high-quality projects that meet client expectations while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 257.31-282.93 per day
