Are you an experienced Site Manager ready to take ownership of a large-scale highways project in North London?
Our client, Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure and civil engineering specialist, is seeking a Site Manager to join their team on a high-profile project delivering critical infrastructure to enable future development.
This role will involve managing the overall programme and delivery of a highways scheme, including earthworks, land remediation, and the construction of a new road.
Key Duties:
Manage short-term and long-term programme planning to ensure timely project delivery.
Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance, maintaining accurate documentation.
Support financial reporting, monitoring project performance and costs.
Lead the self-delivery of the road construction package.
Liaise effectively with site engineers, the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team, and the Contracts Manager to coordinate works.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of the project.
Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain smooth progress on site.
Person Specification:
Proven managerial experience on highways projects, with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure schemes.
Experience working on self-delivery projects, including road construction.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Skilled in short-term and long-term programme management, ensuring projects remain on track.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
