Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive supervising experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality across the site. The Site Manager will be pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to client specifications.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage all site activities, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and adherence to project timelines. Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Develop detailed project programmes using Primavera P6, monitoring progress regularly and adjusting schedules as necessary. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and project execution. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments. Manage procurement processes, including ordering materials and equipment required for ongoing work. Prepare progress reports and documentation for senior management and clients. Troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction phases, implementing effective solutions promptly.

Skills



Proven management experience within the construction or infrastructure sector. Extensive supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams on-site. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites. Ability to motivate teams whilst maintaining a focus on quality standards and deadlines.
