Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for high-end, bespoke construction projects? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee the construction of a luxury 3 million home. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of a prestigious project, ensuring that every detail is executed to the highest standard.
H.M. Raitt and Sons are a long-standing Main contractor who undertake High End renovation and new build work in Edinburgh and throughout the Lothians and are currently looking for site managers to allow growth in this Family orientated Business to continue.

About you
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be from a trade background with construction management and leadership experience, be SMSTS qualified and be competent in Health and Safety practice with good first aid knowledge. With the business having a strong project pipeline, the Site Manager role will give you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills allowing you to provide support for all our on-site teams.
Have a full driving licence (Required)
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Project and Office packages and be IT literate with good administration skills.
Hold a current SMSTS qualification.
Hold a current First Aid
Have strong Communication Skills.
Have experience in both refurbishment and new build.
Be able to demonstrate an ability to control and manage sub-contractors.
Be able to demonstrate that they can meet programme dates.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ;-
The co-ordination and control of the project, including managing staff, labour and sub-contractors, from the construction phase through to completion and handover to the Client
Effectively managing any project delays
Ensuring dimensional controls are in place from the outset and are utilised accordingly
Completing daily site diary and issuing weekly reports as required
Controlling project to financial budgets
Produce, analyse and monitor programmes and site logistics
Ensuring compliance with Quality Control and Quality Management processes and procedures
Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety on sites as detailed within the CDM regulations
Effectively communicating with the Design Team to ensure the timely release of design information
Building and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders
Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 1pm. Overtime will be offered as and when needed. Available for immediate start.
Salary: Pay rates and other benefits dependent on experience.
