Overview


We are seeking a well organised and self motivated Site Manager for bespoke house building, renovation and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality . Must be conversant with first aid and health and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right person with proven supervising experience.

Duties



Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management. Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and update timelines regularly. Lead and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying potential overruns early and implementing corrective actions. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality control measures, and environmental regulations. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to communicate progress, resolve issues promptly, and manage expectations. Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and milestones. Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications



Proven management experience within the construction sectors. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams or subcontractors. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, team members, and external stakeholders. A thorough understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to site operations. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are desirable but not essential. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing complex projects while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering excellence through effective management practices and innovative problem-solving skills.
