Summary of Role:

The role will include overseeing planned roofing works to multiple properties across the Oxfordshire region.

The Site Manager is responsible for effectively managing and controlling all aspects of the project.

Responsible For:

Sub-contractors and suppliers

Direct operatives and labour gang operatives

Key Tasks:

Deliver a consistent, right first-time service Comply with Site Managers responsibilities as laid down in the company's Health, Safety & Environment Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis Ensure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, daily diary, weekly labour, plant, materials, and goods returned, progress photographs, site inductions, and health and safety record. Ensuring operatives, you are responsible for understand their roles and responsibilities, and manage them accordingly by providing guidance. Monitor reportable accidents and ensure correct paperwork is submitted to appropriate personnel Work to agreed programmes / timescales and updating programmes on site for monitoring purposes Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage everyone on site ensuring they are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company's needs.

Skills/ Attributes:

Previous Site Management experience in roofing works Proven track record in successfully managing a project IT Skills with a range of Microsoft office packages is essential Understanding and ability to use Microsoft Projects to effectively manage the construction programme. Ability to co-ordinate, manage and effectively communicate with both direct and sub-contracted labour Ability to be communicate professionally with clients and other stakeholders Self-motivated and ambitious Able to read drawings Comfortable carrying out basic take offs and placing material orders via the procurement team.

Qualifications and Specialist Training:

CSCS Card (Black Management Card or academically qualified white card)

SMSTS

First Aid at Work

NVQ or equivalent in Site Management (desirable but not essential)
