Job Description

Orbit Workforce Solutions are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site teams and subcontractors, coordinating with project managers and clients, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensuring smooth workflow across all site activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of projects and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction work in the London area.

Relevant Experience / Qualifications:

SMSTS

certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

First Aid

qualification

CSCS Card

(Black or Gold preferred)

Asbestos Awareness

Able to obtain DBS

(Disclosure and Barring Service check)

IOSH

(Managing Safely or equivalent)

Relevant Fire Qualifications

(e.g., BM Trada, FIRAS, NVQ in Passive Fire) Proven

passive fire knowledge and experience

on site

Full UK Driving Licence

Key Skills:

Leadership and team management of site operatives and subcontractors on passive fire projects Strong organisational and planning skills, including scheduling, resource management, and task prioritisation Excellent knowledge of health & safety, CDM regulations, and fire safety compliance Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and passive fire installation details Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure on-site Strong communication skills with clients, project managers, and site teams Attention to detail, ensuring all passive fire works meet regulatory and quality standards Proficiency in site reporting, documentation, and project management tools
