About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager for a 2-month contract to oversee a commercial / retail fitout project in Sheffield. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations, including coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor project progress, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets. Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks. Resolve any on-site issues promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial / retail fitout or similar construction projects. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification (essential). Valid CSCS card (Manager level, essential). First Aid at Work certification (essential). Strong knowledge of construction processes, health, and safety regulations. Strong IT knowledge. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
