Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a home counties based main contractor. The Main Contractor builds within sectors including Education, Healthcare, and Commercial within London and the Home Counties with project values ranging between 1 - 10 million in value. The projects are a mixture of refurbishment and fit out projects including laboratory fit out, office re configuration works, external areas such as footways and mechanically biased steam works..
The Candidate - must be capable of delivering the project standalone reporting into a visiting contract manager and be able to do sequencing, short term programming, trade management, site inductions, raise permits, tool box talks, work to tight deadlines, influence H&S on site, Q/A etc. The candidate needs to be SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified and be able to pass a SC clearance (if the candidate has this already this would be a bonus)
My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate with a view to being a temp to perm role which will include a basic salary, car allowance, travel, healthcare and pension with the position looking to start dependant on the candidate notice period.
