The Role - Site Manager
We're looking for a hands-on, highly organised Site Manager to take ownership of our projects on site. You'll be the key link between the office, trades, subcontractors and the customer, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to our high standards of workmanship.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, can confidently manage between 10-15 jobs at one time and takes real pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management - Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to specification.
Health & Safety - Maintain a safe working environment, carry out site inductions and comply with all relevant regulations.
Programme & Planning - Organise labour and subcontractors, coordinate deliveries and manage the construction programme to keep projects on schedule.
Quality Control -Inspect works regularly, resolve issues promptly and ensure all finishes meet WMHI's quality standards.
Customer Liaison - Act as the main point of contact on site, keeping clients informed, managing expectations and dealing with any queries professionally.
Coordination with Office & Management - Work closely with the office team, surveyors and director to report progress, flag risks and support smooth project delivery.
Compliance & Documentation - Maintain accurate site records, complete site reports, oversee inspections and support sign-off and handover processes.
Aftercare Support - Assist with snagging and aftercare, ensuring customers are fully satisfied at project completion.
What We're Looking For
2+ years experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role in construction or home improvements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage trades, subcontractors and schedules effectively.
Confident communicator - professional, clear and customer-focused.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Good knowledge of residential construction, refurbishment and extension works.
A proactive, problem-solving approach and high attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
Preferably can speak Punjabi
What We Offer
Salary: 30,000+ (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work where required)
On-site role based out of West Bromwich, covering projects across the West Midlands
