We now seek an enthusiastic Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role




Working alongside our Building Services Manager and the wider site team on a project, largely comprising of mechanical and electrical elements, you will ensure the safe, effective and timely delivery of all site operations.


You'll be responsible for the day-to-day short-term planning of the project, ensuring key elements are delivered safely, in line with specifications and on time, and that project delivery is consistent with our strategy, goals and quality standards.


Leading by example, you'll oversee positive and effective communication between our site delivery, design and supply chain teams and ensure compliance with our business processes as well as health and safety standards.



Additionally, you will:

Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and any other key personnel Oversee defect management and inspection regimes Contribute to the review of construction detailing Ensure that the Design and Procurement Schedule is reviewed and verified Produce progress reports Ensure all site personnel maintain high standards of site presentation, keeping the site clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times

About You




To be considered for the role of Site Manager, you will need to demonstrate:

Qualifications appropriate to the role A minimum of 3-years' experience in a site management role within the construction industry Good experience of M&E packages Good knowledge of safe systems of work and putting people to work safely The ability to work calmly under pressure Good knowledge of programme management and control Recognition of the importance of change management and the associated risks Excellent communication and inter-personal skills The ability to manage and communicate respectfully and coherently with all stakeholders including the client Outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills Valid CSCS card (or ability to obtain)
