Main purpose of the role:



As Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all production activities to ensure they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with customer, company, and legal standards. You will drive the site toward achieving consistent standards of operational excellence, efficiency, and productivity.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



Demonstrate visible leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, ensuring these are embedded in all strategic and operational decisions.

Develop & Implement H&S Policies: Approve, promote, and oversee implementation of the organisation's health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work including monitoring on Work Wallet.

Promote a Safety Culture: Foster a positive, proactive safety culture where employees feel responsible for and actively engaged in health & safety.

Incident & Investigation Oversight: Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported, investigated thoroughly, and corrective actions are completed promptly through to root cause.

Performance Monitoring: Review H&S performance data, KPIs, audits, and inspection reports, taking action to drive continuous improvement.

Develop and execute site production plans to meet customer demand, business objectives, and delivery schedules.

Monitor production performance against KPIs, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives within production processes to enhance efficiency, throughput, and safety.

Provide strong leadership and direction to site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Develop and coach team members, identifying skills gaps and implementing training plans to build capability and competence.

Develop and track site-level performance metrics and KPIs to monitor process effectiveness and improvement outcomes.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of operational processes to sustain improvements and ensure compliance with standards.

Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to drive business expansion.

Develop and implement customer service strategies that enhance customer experience, retention, and loyalty.

Monitor and analyze customer feedback and satisfaction metrics, using insights to drive service improvements.

Formal Milling qualification - NABIM Modules 1-7 & higher

Health & Safety- IOSH/ NEBOSH Standard

Food Safety/ HACCP- CIEH Qualification

D365 training
