Job Description
We are looking for a self motivated person with groundwork experience to be part of a 2 man squad fitting disabled access ramps througout Scotland.
The job involves ground preparation to allow the installation of the ramp, slab laying and the installation of the disbaled access ramp, which is a modular steel system. Ability to read drawings and work on own initiative . Full training will be given on the installation of the ramps.
The job will involve some planned overnight stays away from home on a regular basis so you must be available to stay away from home when required. An overnight allowance is paid for staying away and accomodation & meals are paid for by the company.
A DBS check may be required.
Use of the following tools is an advantage:
stihl saws grinders CAT scanner handtools and drills
Please note a current full clean driving licence is required for this position.
Core hours of work are normally 08.30 - 16.00 Monday to Friday (35 hours min per week), a degree of flexibility is necessary as overtime is sometimes required.
This is a permanet full time position.
