We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate to join our team, focusing on various aspects of landscape maintenance and horticulture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, contributing to both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting to maintain the beauty of outdoor areas. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening and construction tasks. Utilise excavators for earth-moving tasks as required. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality results. Engage in gardening activities that promote healthy plant growth and enhance the overall landscape design. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience with excavators is an advantage but not essential; training may be provided. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is beneficial. A solid understanding of gardening principles and practices is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work consistently. Physical stamina required for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
