Check fire and intruder alarms daily, reporting any issues immediately. Report suspicious activity, unauthorised access, damage or vandalism. Work with the outsourced security provider when required. Issue and record access cards and keys for contractors using the SALTO system.

Health & Safety

Ensure all contractors sign in at the Site Office, following college procedures and relevant regulations (e.g. CDM 2015). Confirm necessary documentation is in place (ID, RAMS, permit to work). Carry out routine safety checks such as emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, fire door inspections, extinguisher checks, Legionella tasks, and minibus inspections. Support recycling, sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across the site. Assist with letting College facilities to external users. Take part in training relevant to the role.
