Job Description

Pascoe International designs and builds a range of award-winning Superyacht tenders to the highest standards. Alongside our sister company, Eastlands Boatyard, we operate on the River Hamble, offering marina and boatyard services and world-class production facilities.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive Site Operative to provide hands-on support across facilities, stores and boatyard operations. This varied role requires someone with a practical approach, good attention to detail, and a willingness to assist wherever needed across our sites.

Key Responsibilities



Facilities & Site Maintenance



Carry out cleaning and general upkeep of workshops, offices, and communal areas. Grounds keeping works across the site, covering mowing, pruning, weeding, litter picking, leaf collecting and all other aspects of site maintenance. Fixed plant maintenance, including emptying extraction units, completing routine safety checks, and assisting with health & safety compliance. Manage waste disposal, recycling, and outdoor storage areas. Assist with minor repairs, decorating, racking builds, and other facility improvements. Support vehicle maintenance checks and cleaning. Provide manual handling and general support to production or admin teams as required.

Boatyard & Marina Support



Assist the Boatyard Manager with boat movements, launching, and recovery. Operate lifting and handling equipment such as counterbalance and reach forklifts (training provided if required). Maintenance of marina infrastructure, pontoons, and storage areas. Follow marine safety procedures and work effectively in a tidal/marine environment.

Stores Support



Cover day-to-day stores operations as required, including receiving, checking, and storing deliveries. Pick, pack, and issue parts and consumables to production teams. Manage collections and deliveries using company vehicles. Support stock control, participate in regular stock checks, and maintain accurate records. Keep stores areas clean, organised, and safe. Assist with the use of MRP or stock management systems (training provided).

Required Skills & Experience



Full, clean UK driving licence. Counterbalance and reach truck forklift licence (or willingness to train). Experience in facilities or maintenance roles -- ideally in a manufacturing or marine environment. Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to undertake physical work, inside and outside, year-round. Basic IT literacy (Excel, Outlook, or stock systems). Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable



Other plant operator experience - scissor lift, boom lift, etc. Driving experience, towing, multi-drop etc. Experience working in a boatyard, marina, or marine engineering environment. Exposure to stock control systems or MRP software. Knowledge of basic maintenance, repair, or facility improvement tasks.

Woking Pattern



Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 1pm .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
