Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Site Project Manager/Supervisor to oversee the installation and ensure the health and safety compliance of projects involving solar panel installations, EV charger installations, and digital media screen installations (both indoors and outdoors) and many other types of projects, across UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day tasks onsite, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.


Your responsibilities as a Site Project Manager will be:


Project Management:


Oversee installation projects onsite from inception to completion, reporting issues to the assigned Project Manager & Operations Manager for resolution.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Monitor project progress onsite, addressing challenges and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Attend site surveys with aligned contractor prior to works commencing
Travel will be required across the UK with occasional over night stays


Health and Safety Compliance:


Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct and produce/update risk assessments and ensure that safe working practices are in place and adhered to.
Lead regular health and safety briefings with site teams and subcontractors.


Site Supervision:


Oversee site activities to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinate subcontractors and onsite personnel to ensure tasks get completed.
Perform site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues.


Client and Stakeholder Management:


Act as the primary point of contact for clients when onsite during the installation phase.
Provide regular updates to the internal Project Manager and senior management on project status.
Address and resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently.


Technical Oversight:


Understand technical specifications and requirements of projects.
Ensure proper installation and commissioning of all systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them.


Resource:


Ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
Monitor labour productivity and optimise resource allocation.


About you:


Proven experience in managing and delivering construction or installation projects on time and within budget.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices, with relevant qualifications or working towards gaining (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CDM Regulations training (this training can be provided).
Familiarity with the installation processes for solar panels, EV chargers, and digital media screens.
Strong ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and motivate personnel.
Proactive in identifying and resolving on-site challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Strong focus on quality assurance and adherence to project specifications.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
