Main Responsibilities




To support the site security management team in the day-to-day running of security operations at GMCL premises including residential properties.


Tasks and responsibilities



To support, encourage and motivate a team of security officers and ensure all day-to-day operations are carried out in line with company policies and procedures. Respond to all incidents or emergencies onsite and provide detailed documentation incidents to security management. To liaise with GMCL departmental heads of staff in the event of issues to GMCL property and/ or assets. Contact "on call" management or contractors in the event of any issues to properties out of hours. Report any damages/ defects to the relevant GMCL department. Liaise with the technical team daily to report any alarms/ CCTV/ gates issues on sites and collate follow up information. Key management- manage weekly audits on all sites. Daily post visits to all sites Staff welfare and discipline Ensure security department vehicles are maintained correctly and are road worthy for patrolling duties. Detailed supervisor handover on completion of shift Time management of security staff to ensure all officers clock in/ out for each shift. Departmental administration- including alarms & incident reports/ daily manning/ duty rostering/ system fault reports and staff annual leave request. Issuing of all daily operational documentation to site coordinator Daily meeting with security management to discuss all security operations. One-to-one meetings with officers monthly to discuss individual performance and determine any training requirements. To ensure all duty positions are covered in line with contractual obligations. Cover site inspector's role when required. Regular checks of security equipment (radios, torches, video badges etc.) ensuring all items are in order.

Qualification




Valid SIA License First aid qualified (preferred) One year security supervisor experience (preferred) Driving License

Desired Skills




Excellent communication skills with peer's, management, and client. Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, and Word) Outstanding time management skills Thorough and accurate Proactive and able to use own initiative.

Working Hours




Average of 56 hours per week (12-hour shifts-days/nights/weekends) 7 days on, 3 days off and 7 nights on, 4 days off. As required by GMCL.

You must have a current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply for this role
