Tidyco is a multi-divisional engineering company based in Derby, since 1973, and are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our current team.

We're looking for a proactive and organised Site Services Coordinator to join our busy Site Services team, which provides maintenance, service and repair of industrial machinery, plant equipment, and vehicles across the UK.

You'll play a key role in coordinating our field-based engineers, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, customers are supported promptly and service standards remain exceptional. This is a fast-paced, varied position requiring strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.

This is a full time, permanent, position.

Responsibilities:



Coordinate day-to-day activities of field-based engineers covering hydraulic repairs and installations. Plan and allocate jobs efficiently to maximise engineer utilisation, ensuring rapid response to emergency callouts (within one hour of call receipt). Manage engineer van stock, ensuring replenishment and accuracy. Liaise with subcontractors when required and manage their performance. Provide excellent customer support, responding to queries quickly and professionally. Generate quotations, process completed job sheets, and raise invoices accurately. Liaise with internal departments including Accounts, Stores, and Sales to ensure smooth operations. Support the creation of price lists, discount structures, and service documentation. Make proactive sales calls to lapsed, prospective, and new customers to increase service bookings and revenue. Assist with administrative duties, supplier sourcing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Support cross-departmental communication and customer service initiatives.

Skills:



A willingness to learn and develop is essential. (Full training will be provided for the role). Experience in a service coordination, scheduling, or engineering support role preferred. Industry knowledge advantageous but not essential. Strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office, database systems, online portals). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident handling customer enquiries and resolving issues effectively. Able to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and work to deadlines. Commercially aware with an understanding of customer service principles. Organised, reliable, and self-motivated. Professional, approachable, and confident communicator. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Honest, trustworthy, and customer-focused.
