Supervision of the service team and sub-contractors including, administering installation working plans and time sheets. Ordering sub-contract staff as required and reconciliation of invoices received.
Evaluating the service plan/budget with the Sales department, ensuring this meets H&S practices, QMS procedures and appropriate equipment is available. Monitoring installation costs and keeping a record with site staff.
Organisation and evaluation of workloads of the service schedule to ensure an efficient response for ASL clients.
Upkeep of Access system and excel spreadsheets
Liaise with ASL clients and Sales department, to ensure sites are prepared, and allocation of service staff, equipment and tools. Ensure that the correct paperwork and procedures are in place for the installation work to be carried out on site. Including MS, RA, insurance, & evaluation of required competency and necessary certification
Follow and update ASL QMS and H&S procedures, including training matrix's, supporting documentation and Services IT System
Assist the Site operations support assistant with arranging travel, transport, and hotels, hire equipment, tools & consumables for the installation team and project staff.
Obtain clear reports from site service crews, to pass onto the Sales department, to allow preparation of quotations where applicable.
Personal training and development to meet the changing needs of the business
Provide cover for Site services manager when they are absent from the business
The jobholder may from time to time be required to undertake such other duties as the management may reasonably require.
Experience of planning and implementation of installation work in the UK and abroad
Technical background
Excellent numeric and literacy skills
Able to communicate effectively at all levels
Excellent decision-making and organisational skills
Experience of working within an engineering/manufacturing environment
