Redcliffe International (Shipping) Limited specialise in providing freight and logistics solutions for military forwarding, as well as general cargos from all types of industries and sectors. In addition to general forwarding, we tailor solutions by air, road, rail and sea for the movement and storage of military goods including weapons, ammunition, explosives, and missiles.

We now have an opening for a Site Supervisor at our Tutbury Storage Depot (Nr Derby). Tutbury Depot is one of three specialist storage sites operated by Redcliffe for the storage and distribution of explosives and ammunition. They form an integral part of Redcliffe operations and work closely with the transport department to provide a very specialised service to our customers. The Site Supervisor works with the Site Manger to ensure the efficient running of these important facilities.

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, this role is key in supporting that role and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the depot in line with health and safety and Company requirements.

Key Tasks:

Assist the Site Manager with all day-to-day aspects relating to site activities:

Unload & load goods for delivery and collection Assist with the management of the stored goods Undertake Driver/Escort duties as required Help build a good relationship with Landlord Assist with the maintenance of site records Assist with general site maintenance Assist with internal & external site inspections Assist with developing and improving site operations and procedures in conjunction with input from Redcliffe International Staff Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management
Key Skills:

Good communication skills across all levels Good problem solver Attention to detail Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Reliable Good time keeping Trustworthy Your growth in the role will be supported by training in ADR, IOSH, First Aid, Manual Handling and Management of Explosives Storage to name but a few.
Experience:

2-3 years' experience in stores/warehouse/logistics or similar environment Working knowledge of basic Health & Safety legislation Working indoors and outside Full UK driving licence Forklift Licence - desirable ADR Dangerous Goods - desirable
Remuneration Package:

26,000 to 27,500 pa depending on experience

37.5hrs per week - with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness
