We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects around the UK and ensure their successful delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a solid understanding of project planning, and the ability to supervise teams effectively. This role offers an opportunity to lead on-site operations, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The Site Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily site activities on sites around the UK , ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
Monitor progress against project schedules
Manage on-site personnel, including supervising subcontractors and labour teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Ensure all work complies with legal requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety documentation, and incident reports.
Assist in planning resource allocation and procurement to meet project deadlines.
Promote a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel.
Qualifications
Proven experience in supervising construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Demonstrable supervising experience within a construction environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
Relevant qualifications in construction supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: 19.00-25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 - 60 per week
