Site Supervisor (Civil Engineering)

300 - 350 a day

Our client, a leading UK construction company, is looking for a Site Supervisor to join their team in Worcester.

The Site Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing the site-based team daily, ensuring the accuracy and quality of work on site is where it should be. This role will support the Project Manager in preparing and managing the Site Safety File, including the development of the O&M Manual.

This is a 50-week contract with potential for ongoing work beyond that period.

Responsibilities

Instruct and help team members with daily setting out and site requirements. Liaise with project management to ensure compliance with methods, QA standards, and Inspection/Test Plans. Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including allocation sheets, photographs, and drawing registers. Report any out-of-tolerance works or site issues promptly to the Construction Manager. Support the Project Manager in developing and managing Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and Health & Safety documentation. Monitor progress and quality of works, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors as required. Assist in supervising technical aspects of the programme, ensuring delivery to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

About You

Previous experience in a similar role; strong site supervisory experience Site Gold CSCS Supervisor card and SMSTS Proven experience within a heavy civils environment, such as groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete (FRC) construction etc Strong understanding of temporary works processes and the supervision requirements. Confident in liaising with multiple stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. TWS qualification preferred but not mandatory.
