Site Supervisor - Residential Projects (Experienced Only)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Site Supervisor

to lead and manage day-to-day operations on high-end residential construction projects, including

extensions, loft conversions, and full refurbishments

.

The right candidate must be

hands-on

, with a solid background in

carpentry

, and have a

strong understanding of structural demolition

, temporary propping, and the correct procedures for installing

steel beams and columns

. Experience managing live sites is essential. Plumbing knowledge is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise all site activities and trades to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Coordinate material deliveries, subcontractors, and schedules Manage and enforce health and safety standards across the site Oversee demolition and structural work, including setting up correct propping and sequencing for steel installation Carry out regular quality checks and report progress Liaise with clients, office staff, and engineers to resolve on-site challenges Keep accurate daily records and ensure work is completed to spec

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience supervising residential building sites Strong carpentry background and confident managing structural works Sound knowledge of temporary works, structural propping, and steel installations Able to read and interpret technical drawings and structural details Hands-on and proactive approach to site management Clear communicator with good problem-solving ability CSCS card and full UK driving licence
