Job description

- Support South East and South West drive to sales budget within overall South region and also support National team on managing new and existing key projects within defined region


- Maintain and develop new and existing relationships - contractors, specialist applicators and clients forming key account partnership with structured ongoing development plan


- Carry out site visits, reports and training on key projects


- Working alongside the Marketing team produce case studies in order to promote the brand


- Achieve sales target within total sales budget by identifying new opportunities for product sale via sites covered


- Identify, log and promote project opportunities via business relations, market intelligence, Barbour ABI


- Work close with internal team including Spec Hub, Customer Services and Technical


Responsibilities

Managing key projects from inception to completion in Southern region alongside Regional/National team


Carry out toolbox talks, new/existing product training and site support with key stakeholders on identified projects


Achieve regional sales target KPI by identifying further sales solutions on projects


Manage key contacts forged within region via structured plan ensuring future projects are tracked and managed


Provide a monthly report on progress against KPI's and business objectives, whilst suggesting further objectives to improve position


Upload and manage projects and contacts added to CRM

Planning, organisation and structure - work well in a team


Understanding of the key business drivers and converting this into profitable sales


Confident with practical skills within construction sector


Understanding of construction sector, and its internal drivers


Communication skills; computer literate and presentational skills


Analytical skills


Negotiation skills


Able to work independently


Drive, tenacity and results orientated


UK Driving Licence




Desirable


Product knowledge, how Fosroc products fit within the construction industry


Marketing awareness able develop the Fosroc position


Key account management


Good knowledge of region, key partners etc


Competitor knowledge


Practical experience on construction sites.


Knowledge of construction site health and safety procedures.


Current CSCS card

Educational requirements



Job role notes

Working hours : 37 working hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08:30am to 17:00pm with a 1 hour unpaid break each day) and Friday 08:30am to 16:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.


Head Office in Tamworth, Staffordshire.


Flexibility will be required.




Working Environment


Role entails a mix of:-


Driving to and from construction sites, Tamworth site and other locations as indicated by Line Manager


Attending Construction sites to carry out training (PPE will be provided where applicable).


The role may also involve some home working.


Factory environment: Process produces dust, vapour and fume Noise zone in Powders. PPE will be provided in accordance with site/task requirements.
