Job Description

Sandberg is recruiting for a vacancy in our Building Inspection and Investigation department, one of our most versatile and wide-ranging departments.

THE ROLE



Based from our offices in Clapham, the work would involve undertaking non-destructive testing (NDT), inspection, sampling and testing on a wide range of buildings and other structures. Our projects vary from small, single day site testing to involved investigations lasting several months. As a result this role provides excellent opportunities for developing a wide range of skills and experience.

Whilst this role is based from our offices, a substantial amount of time would be site-based. Site works would be mostly London-centric but work across the UK is frequently undertaken. This is a full-time permanent position, normally Monday to Friday though some night and weekend working is also required on occasion.

THE PERSON



Prior experience in undertaking testing, inspection would be an advantage as would prior experience working on construction sites. The candidate should be computer literate with a good standard of English in order to assist with reporting .

CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, confined space training etc would be an advantage as would IRATA certification.

It is essential that you have a driving licence and would be able to drive a company van when required.
