Site Technician - Ground Engineering

Lucion Ground Engineering is looking for a Site Technician to join our expanding ground investigation teams. This role requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors, and experienced in groundworks (hand digging). Experience with diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out site work to support ground investigations Using diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs Performing hand digging and general groundworks Assisting engineering staff with fieldwork operations Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required Preparing and presenting test data Conducting site evaluations for tendering purposes

What We're Looking For:

Enjoys working outdoors and able to carry out heavy manual work Full clean UK driving licence Basic numerical and PC skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Punctual and reliable

Desirable:

Experience using diamond drilling/coring equipment Knowledge of the ground investigation industry Understanding of geographical awareness Diverse and interesting ground investigation projects
