Kendal Caravans is a multi-location dealership established in the North West, Lake District & Blackpool. The business is currently in its 3rd generation helping manage the business. An exciting opportunity has arised to employ a siting team to join the transport team where Kendal Caravans seek to tackle growth.

Duties

Assist with unloading, positioning, and leveling of units on customer sites Use manual handling equipment (e.g., jacks, winches, skates) safely during siting operations. Work with colleagues to ensure units are aligned correctly, anchored, and made weather-tight. Site, seal & fully install twin unit lodges with a team Connect water & waste services followed by a water test & full drain down of holiday home Escort wide or abnormal loads, ensuring safe movement through public highways and site roads. Working away may be required on the job but not frequent - expected 5-10 nights per year. Communicate with the HGV drivers team using CB radios in the escort vehicle Carry out siting & plumbing equipment checks weekly & feedback to the service department admin Complete vehicle checks, maintenance logs, and defect reports. Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including site-specific rules. Assist holiday home engineers on 2-engineer jobs

Prospects & Opportunities

Starting Rate: 14.00 per hour

Fully Qualified Rate: 15.50 per hour

There are

3 pay increases

from the starting rate to the fully qualified rate based on increasing skill sets,

siting, plumbing & escort driving

. This will be

reviewed frequently until the management & directors

are satisfied with the workmanship involed.
