37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm, 41 weeks/year (Term time + training days + 2 weeks)

An exciting opportunity for an efficient, well organised Sixth Form Pastoral and Administration Assistant to join the Sixth Form team at Northampton Academy has become available.

The role involves supporting the everyday administration and pastoral needs of Northampton Academy Sixth Form students, staff and parents.

The purpose of the role is to assist in the administration of the Sixth Form through administrative expertise, departmental knowledge and organisational proficiency. The role also involves supporting the needs of the students and staff in the Sixth Form Team and the wider Academy.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, orally and in writing, work well under pressure and enjoy all aspects of organisational and administrative work. They will read people well, be good in person and on the phone, be well organised, flexible, reliable and discreet.
