Skilled Groundworkers
with strong first-stage groundworks expertise and a validDumper Ticket (CPCS/NPORS)
to join our growing team.This is an excellent opportunity to work on major projects, where your skills will help shape the foundations of the built environment.
Essential Skills & Responsibilities
Valid CSCS Card
Confident inreading and interpreting drawings
and site documentation. Competent in theset-up and safe use of trench boxes, drag boxes, and manhole boxes
. Proficient withpipe lasers
for accurate drainage installations. Experienced in layingconcrete, clay, and plastic pipes
of all sizes, ensuring correct bedding, surround, and pressure testing. Skilled ingroundwater management
, including selecting and operating the correct pumps. Knowledgeable inbackfilling techniques
to trenches and excavations. Competent inbenching manholes
to a high standard. Safe and experienced when working aroundlive services
, with strong service avoidance awareness. Proven ability inexternal works
, including kerbs, edgings, slabs, and block paving. Strong understanding ofmaterials and methods
for drainage, road formation, kerbing, and landscaping. Capable of carrying outdaily pre-start plant inspections
, reporting service and maintenance requirements promptly. ValidCPCS/NPORS Dumper Ticket
(essential).Desirable
Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets forTelehandlers, Rollers, or other plant
.5-10+ years' experience
in skilled groundworks. Experiencedgroundwork gangs/teams
are highly sought after.General Expectations
