Job Details:

JobMatcha are recruiting for a Skilled Highways Operative looking to continue to grow their career on the highways with progression within the industry.

Depot Location: Stroudwater and Bamfurlong

Skilled Highways Operatives required for Temp to Perm placements on various depots in Gloucestershire region.
Overtime opportunities - evenings, nights and weekends at competitive rates

Annual leave starting at 20 days (plus Bank Holidays) and long service annual leave rewards

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Skilled Highways Operative include carrying out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations. Deputise for Chargehand as and when required. Able to run a 2-person crew on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification. Manage safety of the team and complete all necessary reporting, paper or electronic. Where required, to respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours and assist with winter maintenance.

Requirements for this role:

Right to work in the UK

Valid UK Full Driver's License

NRSWA Streetworks Ticket

HGV Driving License

Previous experience as a Skilled Highways Operative or related role
