Overview

We are seeking a skilled 2nd fix Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with both hand and power tools, and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Joiners play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Duties

Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and accurately measured. Perform heavy lifting when required, particularly when moving large materials or completed assemblies. Carry out painting and finishing work as necessary to enhance the appearance of completed projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless integration of joinery work with other building elements. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong understanding of joinery techniques and best practices. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing. Knowledge of roofing joinery is an advantage but not essential.
