We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities that may vary based on project needs.
Duties
Perform a variety of manual labour tasks, including but not limited to digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, mixing concrete.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in a skilled labour position or related field is preferred.
Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
