We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. As a Skilled Labourer, you will be responsible for supporting various projects and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and execution of construction and maintenance tasks. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness, capable of performing manual labour for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Problem-solving skills with an adaptable approach to changing situations.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From 16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
