Job description

Due to continued growth and exceptional demand, we are seeking a keen and aspiring garden room installer to join our small, growing team.

Based out of our Guildford warehouse, you will be required to work within a team of multi-skilled trades, contribute to the construction of our high specification garden rooms at various client sites across Surrey & the South-East.

You will share a key eye for detail, a desire to learn and develop within the team and ensure we always deliver to the high standards we set.

The work varies across all phases of a client project, ranging from foundations installation and 1st fix construction to 2nd fix carpentry and finishing. Candidates should have relevant construction experience and be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills:

Fitting, and/or basic carpentry Trimming and finishing First or second fix construction Door, window and glass installation EPDM roofing

Responsibilities and duties

Assist in the construction of SilverLeaf's high specification garden room according to plans and quality standards, including:

Workshop preparation of timber sub-assemblies. Site preparation activities, including mark-out and installation of foundation systems. Construction of SIP frame structures. Bonding & finishing of EPDM rubber roofing systems to specification. Installation of bifold doors and windows to specification. 1st fix internal fitout & 2nd fix finishing, including drywall installation, engineered wood flooring & skirting board installation. Timber cladding installation & 2ndfix carpentry. Maintain good construction practices to ensure a tidy, safe and secure site.
Full training is provided with a supportive learning environment to help develop skills and contribute to personal development and growth within the team.

As a customer-facing role, the successful candidate will be presentable with good communication skills.

Occasionally early starts, with some heavy lifting required.

Package

Monday to Friday Tools and equipment provided On completion of your first 3-month probation you will receive 250, followed by 500 after 6-months. Payment via CIS scheme
As we are located in Guildford, candidates should live within an approximate 30-minute journey time of our warehouse.

Candidates should have a full, clean driver's license and access to their own vehicle.
