Job Description

A skilled labourer is required to help stonemasons on site in Inverness/Ross-shire and surrounding areas.

Driving license required

Cscs card required

Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor tasks as directed by the supervisor

- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment

- Operate hand and power tools as required

- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment

- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Experience:
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role (at least 2 years preferred)

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

-Good hand-eye co-ordination

-Excellent communication and teamworking skills

-Commitment to safety rules

-The ability to take and follow instructions

-Be proactive and able to use own initiative

-Hardworking, punctual and organised

-Must be able to work in all weathers to meet the time restraints on each project

This role will involve travel to various sites located in the Inverness-shire & Ross-shire, this is a great opportunity for any one who has a interest in heritage buildings across the highlands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
