We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves working in various environments, contributing to projects that require physical stamina and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Perform fire stopping and trapezoidal infills (training & guidance
Carry out general labouring duties on construction sites or other work environments.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
Perform tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
Skills
Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual handling tasks.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a work environment.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the role.
Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and work conditions.
