We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the capability to work collaboratively with others on site. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and structures on site. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as needed for specific tasks. Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or a similar skilled labour position is preferred but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site. Valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory. Pay: 12.50-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
