Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our developments team, operating within the leisure industry throughout the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone that has the knowledge to be able to carry out tasks including joinery, plumbing & basic electrical works. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play an essential role in supporting our operations and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Carry out manual labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist in the assembly, installation, or maintenance of structures and equipment. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times. Report any issues or hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg). Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and supervisors. A Full valid driving licence is required as our work is across the UK. Willingness to work away from home and to stay away. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Familiarity with health and safety practices in a construction or industrial setting is beneficial.
