We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer / Storeman to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas to ensure safety and organisation.
Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed, including assisting with installations or repairs.
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in completing projects on time.
Maintain accurate records of materials received on site and organise them in site stores.
Experience
Previous experience in a labouring role and M&E is advantageous.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery is preferred.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with colleagues.
A commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace is essential.
