Job Purpose

To provide hands-on support to our engineers and tradespeople, carrying out a range of property maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks for domestic and commercial clients. This role is ideal for someone with practical experience who enjoys varied, hands-on work and takes pride in achieving a professional finish on every job.

Key Responsibilities

Support electrical and building maintenance projects across residential and commercial sites. Assist tradespeople and engineers with installations, repairs, and site preparation. Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as joinery, painting, plaster patching, or fixture replacement. Ensure work areas are clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Handle tools, materials, and equipment responsibly and in line with health and safety requirements. Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site. Drive company vehicles to and from sites when required (for qualified drivers).

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in general labouring, maintenance, or a related trade environment. Practical skills and confidence in using hand and power tools safely. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Previous experience in electrical, plumbing, or property refurbishment environments. Basic understanding of site health and safety regulations. Experience driving company or fleet vehicles. CSCS card or relevant site qualification.
